About the project

The Dvůr Mělnická project is sensitively embedded in its mass and height into the existing buildings near the central part of the city Stará Boleslav - Mariánského náměstí. 

On the one hand, the classicist approach of the cultivated morphology and surfaces of the object is complemented on the other by the bearer of the contemporary design concept of the project - the lounge and the staircase. From the side of Mělnická Street, the building follows the street line and fills the entire width of the space between the existing buildings. This visually completes the line of Mělnická Street opening onto Mariánské náměstí. At first glance, the building has a rural character - the footprint of the U-shaped floor plan, the gable roof with burnt French tiles, the immediate proximity to greenery, and the pleasant scale of the building's dimensions evoke the feeling of a nice, peaceful and cozy refuge - home.

Our project offers a total of 18 residential units on two floors. They are designed in the most optimal orientation to the east, west, and south. Almost all apartments provide the exclusivity of front gardens, terraces, or balconies. Their layouts are varied, and you can choose from a wide range of sizes, from 2+kk to 3+kk. The green courtyard, with the possibility of sitting, active, or passive rest in the private atrium area, which is accessible to unit owners, will be appreciated by all age groups. Dvůr Mělnická also counts on ensuring a sufficient number of parking spaces in the area of the private parking lot and, thus, the convenient use of motor vehicles. The project will be completed in energy class C.

Transport connections

The city of Brandýs nad Labem-Stará Boleslav is well connected to both road and train transport. Thanks to bus lines 375 and 367, the journey to Prague by public transport is easy and relatively fast. Line 375 will take you to metro C to Letňany station in 31 minutes. The second bus, line 367, will take you to metro B to Černý most station in 29 minutes.

It is easy to get to Prague by car, as the city is connected to the D10 highway, and you can get to Prague - Černý most in about 15 minutes. Thanks to the new garages with P+R parking and the connection to the metro station (B line), it is easy to park your car here and continue to the center of Prague using public transport.

Location and services

The surroundings of the project Dvůr Mělnická offers, thanks to its location not far from the center of Stará Boleslav, a wide range of civic amenities. On Mariánské náměstí (Marinské square), which is located a few meters from our project, you can find pleasant cafes and several restaurants. The Brandýs nad Labem–Stará Boleslav Municipal Office is also located on this square.

Not far from the project is a primary and kindergarten school or a playground, and Brandýs nad Labem also has a grammar school. There are also a lot of pharmacies and doctor's offices nearby, and the Brandýs nad Labem Hospital is also close to the project. You will also find many different shops here - from groceries to drugstores to shops with fishing equipment - so everyone can choose what they like. There are also large supermarkets, such as Tesco and Kaufland, nearby.

The city of Brandýs nad Labem-Stará Boleslav also offers a wide range of cultural and sporting activities. Brandýs nad Labem attracts its residents as well as visitors with its famous castle. The reconstructed Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, not far from our project, is a balm for the eye and soul. There is also a cinema and many cultural events organized by the city or civic society. For sporting activities, you can find several gyms, a golf club, a slalom channel, and many other sporting opportunities here. The city is also associated with one of the most successful athletes in our history - Emil Zátopek, on whose running tracks you can also sweat while running.

Nature

Dvůr Mělnická is located a short distance from Proboštské Lake, where the beach is open during the summer months. In addition to swimming, you can try various water sports here, such as water skiing. To clear your head and relax, you can go to the Ostrůvek forest park, which is located on one of the islands on the Elbe River between Brandýs and Stara Boleslav, and when you are tired of relaxing, you can also play disc golf here.

If you prefer an active rest, you can ride a bike or go for a walk on the Polabská shared path, which leads around the Elbe River through Záryby and Kostelec, where you just cross the bridge to the other bank to Mělník.

History

The new residential project Dvůr Mělnická is located a short distance from where the history of the Czech nation was shaped. Stará Boleslav is for the long time associated with Czech statehood due to the murder of Prince Václav Přemyslovský, which took place here in 935. In addition to the murder of St. Václav (St. Wenceslas), the main patron of the Czech nation, this place is connected to our history thanks to the Palladium of the Czech Land, the protective image of the Czech Land, which is located in the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Stará Boleslav, just 200m from the Dvůr Mělnická project.

The city of Brandýs nad Labem-Stará Boleslav is, in its own way, important for European history. For example, in 1813, Emperor Francis I, King William III of Prussia, and the Russian Tsar Alexander I met together in the Brandýs castle. With these three sovereigns, there was also the commander-in-chief of the anti-Napoleonic coalition armies, Prince Karel Schwarzenberg. All four gathered here to jointly prepare a strike against Napoleon advancing through Europe.

In the 20th century, an essential event for both cities was the merger of the cities into one administrative unit in 1960. The residents of both cities did not want to give the new city a new name, so the city with the longest municipal name in the Czech Republic was created - Brandýs nad Labem-Stará Boleslav.
